Bartholomew Owoh, one of the three young Nigerians executed by General Buhari for an offence that did not carry the death penalty is the elder brother of Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh popularly known as Osuofia, emerging facts indicate.

A source close to the Nollywood actor revealed on Thursday on condition of anonymity. According to the source, Nkem Owoh and the rest of his family have not recovered from the trauma of the cold-blooded murder of the three young men, particularly their brother and son, Bartholomew Owoh.

It will be recalled that Buhari, while he was military Head of State promulgated a decree prescribing death penalty for anyone caught for drug trafficking. But the trio of Lawal Ojuolape (30), Bernard Ogedengbe (29) and Bartholomew Owoh (26) committed the offence before Buhari came into power.  
 
The laws of Nigeria at the time the offence was committed did not prescribe the death penalty. When Buhari took over power, he insisted the young men should be executed and they were killed publicly by firing squad.

“Nkem Owoh and his family are so distraught with Buhari for killing their brother at the young age of 26. Every time he sees Buhari on TV, he weeps bitterly over his brother.

He can’t even believe that Buhari has the nerve to seek re-election as President”, the source told BREAKING TIMES

2 Dead as Police and Drug Dealers Clash Heavily in Sabon Gari Market

Men of the Nigeria Police Force have clashed heavily with drug dealers inside the Sabon gari market in Kano.  

No less than two people were said to have lost their lives, while some others suffered varying degrees of injury, following a bloody clash between drugs dealers and Security Agencies, including the State Police Force, Kano State Transport Road Agency (KAROTA), Civil Defence and Hisbah in the commercial city of Kano.

According to The Nation, the security agencies were said to have reportedly stormed the Sabon Gari market, Kano and impounded large quantities of drugs and hospital equipment been sold in the market.

Reacting to the development, the Caretaker Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Patent and Drug Dealers Association (NAPDDA), Nnamdi Dozie, who made the disclosure, said the unarmed drug dealers confronted the Security operatives, who invaded the market on the claims that the dealers were involved in the sale of fake and unregistered drugs in the market.

While describing the allegations as stage-managed, so as to tarnish the image of the drug dealers and their businesses, Dozie however called on the Kano State Government, including the Emirate Council to intervene, so as to amicably resolve the dispute.

According to Dozie, numerous efforts by the Drug dealers to table their petition before the authorities proved futile, explaining that the combined security operatives cordoned the market, preventing sellers and buyers from gaining entry into the market.

Man Commits Suicide In Lagos Over Suspicion His Landlord Was Sleeping With His Wife (Disturbing Photo)

A young man identified as Temi Faruok has committed suicide by hanging himself inside his room in a Lagos suburb after he claimed 

that his wife poisoned his food to kill him in order to keep her alleged lover who is their landlord.

The incident happened at Iya Meta Street in Orisumbare, Shasha area of Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the late Faruok had complained that his wife poisoned his food which affected his health that had deteriorated all because she wanted to keep her secret romance with their landlord, a claim the wife denied.
